Will ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers cite you?

We check whether AI search tools can read your site, understand your business and trust it enough to recommend you.

This is real-time — we hit your live site, parse robots.txt, fetch /llms.txt, and analyze schema. ~10 seconds.

About this tool

What the check actually reads.

It fetches your robots.txt and works through the AI crawlers one at a time — GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and the rest — reporting for each whether your site allows it, blocks it, or says nothing. Then it looks for /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt, the plain-text files that tell an AI engine what your site is and what it should quote.

From there it parses the structured data on the page and flags the types engines lean on when they pick something to cite, checks the trust signals they look for — author markup, an about page, a contact page, Organization and Person schema, a visible last-updated date — and reads the shape of your content: how many paragraphs, how long they run, whether there are FAQ blocks or bullet lists, whether the title is phrased as a question. Last it checks brand clarity: name, logo, and a consistent address and phone number.

One thing it does not do, so nobody has to guess: it will not tell you whether you are being cited in an AI Overview today for a particular search. That varies by query and by user. This measures whether your page is built to be quotable in the first place.
